    If Haughton uses the ontological argument we are doomed because all atheists are fundamentalist adherents to scientism and lack the street creds to refute nuanced philosophical positions of this sort.

      Typically, William doesn’t like the Cosmological Argument, and I expect he doesn’t like the Ontological Argument either. He understand that even if true, they don’t get you to Jesus. Expect him to angle for the historicity of Jesus.

    Does God exist? Have you checked the White Pages?

    God the Trickster seems real enough.

    These debates deflect the real issues of our times. The most important thing to establish is that all religious leaders are fraudulent hucksters. None of them know anything about any God.

    When politicians, at any level, indulge these hucksters, they are doing their societies a grave disservice.
