My story has to do with the prayer in public schools conversations, debates, rage, et al that was being discussed here around a month ago. Some of us are still dealing with it, others have managed to make some positive changes. This is an example of the latter.
McMann’s post is recommended reading for people and groups who want to make changes that benefit everyone:
It’s time our provinces take a step forward and invoke change. Positive growth and education change. One small ripple here could lead to a wave across the board. I want all children, not just my own, to learn in a religion free environment.
McMann focuses on Saskatchewan and Alberta, but Ontario’s education system needs to be changed as well because all Ontario children deserve to learn in a religion free environment.

Money was begged for to build the places of worship, & THAT is where religion, prayer, clergy, & worship all belong.
Public schooling should ”educate” & leave the religions to the places of worship only. That way, its a complete personal choice to attend the places of worship….or not!
Religious instruction versus religious history.
Because of its choke hold on humanity, it is imperative that free nations teach their children all about religious history. Also, about religious authorship. Anonymous just isn’t good enough to put this evil fairytale to bed.
Our government should be in charge of revealing religious history. It isn’t right that concerned citizens take all the risks. This is a matter of public safety.
Also, refugees should be given, the first chance in their lifetime, a chance to learn about the nonsense that ruled their former lives.
When is our stupid federal government ready to decide it is adult enough to impart knowledge to its inadequately informed citizenry?
