In a couple of weeks, volunteers from the Centre For Inquiry Okanagan branch will be busy collecting donations of winter clothing, food and other items and delivering them to Inn from the Cold, the Boys & Girls Club, the Kelowna Women’s Shelter and the Kelowna Community Food Bank.

The Centre for Inquiry Okanagan Winter Clothing (Etc) Drive is a great way to demonstrate that we can be good and generous without God. When you see the wish lists, you won’t be able to resist the opportunity to shop for the much needed basics most of us take for granted: sugar, salt, bread, milk and toothpaste. The Centre for Inquiry Okanagan Winter Clothing (Etc) Drive is the perfect excuse to collect the sweaters, coats and other clothing in good condition taking up room in your closets and drawers. Lighten the load in your home, so men, women and your children in your community will be warm and comfortable this winter.

CFI Okanagan volunteers will also accept cash donations and gift cards from local grocery stores for the Kelowna Women’s Shelter. For more information, contact okanagan@cficanada.ca

Hi Bob, If you’re in CFI Okanagan’s collection area (Kelowna and West Kelowna, BC), we can arrange collection of your donation once you’ve registered at the Eventbrite site:

    http://goodwithoutgodclothingdrive.eventbrite.ca

If you’re not in our collection area, there are links at the Eventbrite site to make online cash donations.

    Thanks so much!
