Julius Csotonyi’s book, The Paleoart of Julius Csotonyi is finally available. You’ll remember Julius Csotonyi as the talented artist behind the Royal Canadian Mint’s set of Prehistoric Creatures coins, the latest of which is the Tiktaalik coin. I got my copy of the book today and it is gorgeous – beautiful colour pictures with pull-outs and just the right amount of informative text discussing the images, the fossils they were modelled on, etc. I love it and if you like dinosaurs and want to enjoy art that really brings them to life accurately (Csotonyi is a biologist AND artist), you’ll want to pick up a copy of this book!
